The Darien Gap: From Panama City to Medellín, Colombia

From Panama City, we couldn’t cycle much further before having to embark on a boat. Although North and South America are connected, we couldn’t reach Colombia by land. There are indeed paths through the jungle, but with illegal drug and human trafficking and criminal gangs, it isn’t really a safe option.
